On Tap: Bell's Third Coast Old Ale

January 5th, 2011

Taverncast On Tap #9

Founder's Pale Ale

Listen to the show:

Today we continue in the Pale Ale category with Founders Pale Ale, from Grand Rapids brewer Founders. Another great beer from a great Michigan brewery! Will this hoppy beer make Bryce and Mike "Unhoppy"?

Then we discuss what exactly makes a bar great... Is it all about the booze? Or are there other elements to the equation? What do you think?

Read more about the bars mentioned in this show!

Finally listening to this today!
USMC_Esopa:
Excellent show as always. On Tap is easily my favorite spin-off since After Hours. Thanks for the laughs and good times guys.
Beatlejuice:
Can't believe you guys aren't micro-brewers. It is time intensive but not too bad.
Eloysius:
I used to be. Just haven't done it in a couple years.

Don't know if I posted this before but quay street brewery in port huron is an awesome place. Great beers, good food. During the day it's guys in Carharts. During the evening they have guys in Tuxxes playing piano and stand up bass with great food. I recommend the blackened salmon. That is if it hasn't changed.

I'm re-listening to some of these! Can I ask if these might ever return? I always thought I knew a lot about drinks, until you guys started this!
